Our kayak club is a great community, you can venture outdoors "amongst" your kayak peers. It is easy to envision paddling alongside beautiful rivers, gliding across peaceful lakes, and maybe even splashing around in the ocean! You will also get to meet new friends who love to kayak as much as you do. We have all ages of members, so whether you are young or older, you will meet others who have the same skills and interests. All are welcome and we hope you will come!
Well, are you ready for some spine-chilling action? White Water Rapids — Our kayak club enjoy white water rapids! If you’re new to kayaking and you’re feeling a bit nervous, don’t panic! There are friendly pros to teach you how to safely navigate the rapids, and manage steerage. They will put you through the best techniques and tips to ensure a good time but in a safe way. You will enjoy the pleasure of going past the water while soaking in the beauty of nature around you. It’s an unforgettable adventure!
We have some fabulous coaches in our kayak club who want to help you identify strengths and weaknesses in your paddling. This could be your first time in a kayak or you might be a seasoned veteran — either way, our coaches will be on hand to help. They will walk you through each step and teach you how to paddle correctly and the best way to navigate your kayak. You will learn skills that will have you feeling great and competent on the water. Before you know it, you'll also be paddling like a pro!
Joining our kayak club is not only about kayaking – but making friends for life and enjoying each others company! We host fun events such as hangouts and potluck dinners where you can mingle and meet other club members. They are a fantastic opportunity to forge friendships and swap stories. We also offer exciting excursions to locations for a range of kayaking experiences. Every trip lets you create some amazing memories with your new friends, something you will remember for a long time!
